How did it all start? I was perhaps not even going to school yet when I was
enchanted by the forge trade during a family trip. The men, as dirty as devils,
struck the glowing iron and the infernal smell of the burning coal was all about.
I said that this was what I wanted to do and I have kept it up until today.
After undertaking training and passing the final examination at the Secondary
Artistic Trades School on Podkovářská Street in Prague, we gradually started
establishing our own forge shop. And the successes? My final work was
acknowledged at the 18th International Meeting of Artistic Forgers at Helfštýn
castle in 1999.
Our workshop has been operating as a small family business since the
beginning of 2003. We deal with artistic trade and ordinary forgery work as
ordered by the client or in accordance with our own designs.
